Coming Soon….Summer Reading in Paul’s Letters

We believe Bible study should grow both our knowledge of God AND our affection for God.

  • Judges: Humanity's Rebellion, God's Redemption (14 Weeks)

Judges is perhaps on of the most disturbing books of the Bible. Its contents describe the downward spiral of Israel into sin and rebellion against God. In their willing disobedience, the Israelites experience the natural repercussions of sin: division, betrayal and violence. However, God in His own love and mercy demonstrates His faithfulness to an unfaithful people. This study is designed to guide you through the book of Judges in 14 weeks with 5 daily studies per week. As you study you will see how Judges connects and points to our need for an ultimate deliverer, one who could rescue us completely from our enemies and from the eternal repercussions of our sin. We see in Judges that we need Jesus.

  • Revelation: Hope for the Afflicted Faithful (16 Weeks)

For many people Revelation is one of the most imitating books in the Bible. Yet the opening verses say that those who read the text will be blessed. Over the course of 16 weeks with 5 daily studies, this book will not only walk you through the imagery, but will also provide historical context, and encourage you to move between both the Old and New Testaments for a fuller understanding and comprehension of the text. You will be encouraged as you learn that the resounding message of the book of Revelation is “remain faithful”. This message is just important to us today as we live in a world full of trials and difficulties as it was to its earliest readers in the 1st century.

  • John: God Among Us (12 Weeks)

The Gospel of John is different from the other Gospels and has long been considered unique apart from the other three “Synoptic” Gospels. Part of that uniqueness is the intense focus given on the divinity of Jesus. From the opening verses that echo Genesis to the “I Am” statements of Jesus, John’s Gospel provokes a deeper understanding that Jesus is God among us, Israel’s God - Yahweh. John captures the life, teaching, signs and resurrection of Jesus for the explicit purpose of helping others come to know him as their Lord and Savior. This Bible study includes 60 daily studies over the course of 12 weeks. Each week’s study will include exploring the Old Testament context, show how John’s themes connect to the rest of the New Testament.
